Compassionate, realistic childbirth education taught by an experience midwife and tailored to you.

Learning about the process of labor and birth is an essential aspect of planning a vaginal delivery. After an initial meeting to determine what your unique needs are, I will tailor a class for you, your partner, and any other support people.

I have been teaching childbirth ed in my midwifery practice since 2010. I care deeply about birth. I have attended almost a thousand births, and have a lot of experience helping parents through this process.

I have birthed twice - the first being a planned home birth that ended in a transfer to the hospital and a c-section, and the second a planned VBAC at Concord Birth Center, which occurred in March of 2021. I have a particular interest in counseling people planning a VBAC after having had my own, as well as having had many VBAC clients in my care over the years.

I believe that it is important to understand the physical and emotional processes of birth. I also think you should have a realistic idea of what to expect! Birth is a force that can not be controlled, but we can prepare for what the ride might look like.

Reach out if you are:

  • planning a hospital birth and desire a vaginal delivery, with or without pain medication

  • planning a home birth or birth center birth with another practice

  • planning a VBAC either in or outside the hospital

  • recovering from previous traumatic birth experiences and are desiring a different experience

I can be reached via call or text at (603) 630-0897. Virtual consult is free. I charge $75/hr and recommend the classes be scheduled in 2 hour sessions - but that depends on your needs and availability.
